Identifying and Assessing Export Markets


Choosing a market is easy but entering is a different story. Before entering a new market as an Exporter, it is essential for you to identify and assess the right market for your product(s), as the right market increases the probability of your success. In a bid to assist new and existing exporters in identifying the most suitable and profitable markets, exporTT Limited held a Research Training Workshop on Identifying and Assessing Export Markets. Facilitated by our own Dhanraj Harrypersad-Manager Export Market Research Center (EMRC) Unit, this session took individuals through the various tools to assist in analyzing, assessing and developing an export dashboard for a product.

Dhanraj has a total of 6 years of experience working in Business Development, Export Development and Market Research. He was responsible for the development of the Export Market Research Centre and has been the manager for approximately four years. In his role as manager he continues to focus on the needs and objectives of exporters and ensures that the services offered by the department meets them.In his capacity, he has led and worked on a number of desk and in-market research projects for markets such as Cuba, Colombia and Brazil.
